Playground HD2 has seven mini-games: Tic-Tac-Toe, Connect 4, Shell Game, three different numbers (1-10) games), Mills and Mastermind.All of the games except Tic-Tac-Toe are not easy to find in other apps, so that’s good, but their target audience is vastly different. The numbers games, for example, are very simple and target toddlers/preschoolers learning numbers in the very early stages. The Mastermind game, however, is one that even I found a tad challenging (and fun).

Playground HD 2 is a new number app from Jan Essig designed for the iPad. The app is comprised of six mini games involving math such as tic tac toe, connect 4, shell game which involves finding a pearl, numbers which involves learning numbers from one to ten, Mills allowing you to play against the iPad and Mastermind which has you finding a color code. Idag kom appen i ny version med bra svenskt tal. Det är Susanne på PappasAppar.se som lånat ut sin röst för att förbättra denna app.En annan bra nyhet är att delen som tidigare hette ”Nummer” nu är förbättrad. Den består nu av tre olika delar. I en av delarna matchar man kort med siffror på mot rätt antal. I en annan gör man tvärtom. I den tredje delen övar man på att forma siffror. Detta är ett bra komplement till Lekplats 3, där man formar bokstäver. more
